More national perperations

Dropped the trailer off for pre trip adjustments and fix's.
I am hold my breath waiting to hear the total.  Nothing really major just a lot of small things all at once that are probably going to really add up.

Other than that not a whole lot going on....

Getting ready for the National!

Entries closed yesterday and am waiting to see counts.

We are in the getting ready to go phase.  The trailer goes in next week for a checkup and to fix a few minor things.  Crossing fingers that Calypso does not blow coat.  It is all the sudden gotten quite warm here.  Hig of 87 today.  Rocky is growing up nicely and I look forward to showing him in sweeps and puppy class.

Now if it would just hurry up and get here!!!

Back from the shows.

Back from the 5 days at the Fiesta Cluster.  We had a really good time visiting with Cassie and Barbie and all the other exhibitors.  The two puppies had a great time seeing all the other dogs.  Dottie (now Dixie) went to her new home and is already settling in with her Great Dane companions. lol.   She did really good took one look at Dalton the male took a sniff and said your just really big but that's okay.

We only showed on Saturdy and Sunday as the other two days were hosted by our Club.  Cardigans did not do anything but Dante the Dacshund went WD/BOW both days for 4 more points.  He now  has 9 points with 1 major at 9 months old!

Now time to get ready for the National in April!

Where to begin

We talked today about starting a blog to chronicle our adventures...or more often missadventures!

The we is me and my husband Jon which is know as Sunspark Cardigans.  The other part is Karen and Shannon from Kantasia Cardigans.  We have all been involved in showing dogs for over 30+ years.  Our orginal breed was Siberian Huskies but now mainly have Cardigan Welsh Corgis.

And to start off our adventure series, I had an one wating when I came home from our club meeting.  Miss Dazzle had a while back started a  hole under the barn which we had blocked off.  Some how tonght Calypso decided that that hole should be reexcavated and in the process being a bit more robust than Dazzle promptly got stuck.  The rest of the pack let us know there was a "problem".  After a bit of digging dirt out around her and manuevering her away from the the metal pipe housing the wiring into the barn I was able to get her unstuck and no worse for wear.

This weekend the hole will be filled with cement...for now cement blocks are hopefully keeping them away from the dreaded hole.
